Description
Kirby Armature and Field Coil Motor Kit – (New Type)
The Kirby Armature and Field Coil Motor Kit is the ideal solution for restoring the motor performance of your Kirby vacuum cleaner. When the armature or field coil becomes defective, it is important to replace the correct components in time. Thanks to this complete motor kit, you immediately have all the essential parts needed to keep your Kirby motor operating reliably and powerfully.
Why Choose the Kirby Armature and Field Coil Motor Kit?
This complete motor kit has been specially developed for all Kirby vacuum cleaners from G3 through Avalir Platinum, manufactured before July 2025. Since Kirby no longer produces the original separate versions of the armature and field coil, this kit provides an excellent replacement solution for older models.
In addition, the kit includes not only a new-style armature, but also a new field coil and a set of motor carbon brushes. As a result, several wear-sensitive motor components can be replaced at the same time. This not only improves reliability, but also significantly extends the service life of the motor.
Furthermore, a complete replacement allows the motor to perform optimally again, helping to maintain the original suction power of your Kirby vacuum cleaner.

Important Information About the Kirby Armature and Field Coil Motor Kit
According to Kirby’s current guidelines, old and new motor components should not be combined. Therefore, Kirby recommends replacing both the armature and the field coil at the same time whenever one of these components becomes defective.
Our Perspective
While Kirby unfortunately seems to be focusing more and more on the sale of new vacuum cleaners, we continue to believe in the original Kirby philosophy: sustainability and a long service life. In our opinion, offering an unnecessarily expensive motor kit makes repairing older Kirby vacuum cleaners less attractive. As a result, the focus appears to be shifting from repair to replacement. For this reason, we have developed an affordable alternative so that your trusted Kirby can continue to serve you for many years. In this way, we keep the original Kirby concept alive: preserving quality instead of replacing it.
However, we have more than 26 years of experience rebuilding Kirby motors. During that time, original Kirby armatures and field coils were always supplied and installed separately. Therefore, we have established that individual replacement is technically possible when the correct components are used.

Moreover, we believe it is important that Kirby users can continue to maintain their vacuum cleaners sustainably. For that reason, we have taken these individual motor components into our own production. As a result, replacement parts remain available for older Kirby models, while the lifespan of existing machines can be extended even further.
A Sustainable Solution for Long-Term Use
Because individual components are no longer produced by Kirby, many Kirby vacuum cleaners would otherwise become obsolete prematurely. Therefore, we have chosen a sustainable approach that ensures high-quality replacement parts remain available.
As a result, Kirby owners can continue repairing their vacuum cleaners instead of replacing them. In addition, these components contribute to less waste and a longer lifespan for existing appliances.
