This allows you to distribute the cleaning solution evenly across carpets, rugs, and upholstery. Furthermore, controlled foam formation ensures efficient cleaning without unnecessary shampoo consumption.

What Is the Kirby foam head?

The Kirby attachment for shampoo gun is a specially designed foam screen that transforms liquid shampoo into a consistent foam structure. As a result, you can treat soiled surfaces precisely, while the cleaning foam helps loosen dirt from textile fibres.

Thanks to its compact design, you can easily attach the foam screen to the original Kirby shampoo gun. In addition, it is suitable for use with Kirby Carpet Cleaning Shampoo.

Benefits of the Kirby foam attachment

The Kirby foam attachment ensures controlled distribution of cleaning shampoo. Consequently, it offers several practical benefits:

Even foam formation: the integrated foam screen produces a fine and consistent foam structure.

Targeted cleaning: suitable for carpets, carpeted stairs, upholstery, and localised stains.

Easy installation: attaches directly to the original Kirby shampoo gun.

Efficient shampoo consumption: helps distribute the cleaning solution evenly across the surface.

Compact and removable: easy to install, remove, and clean.

How Does the Kirby Foam Screen Work?

When using the Kirby shampoo gun, diluted shampoo flows from the reservoir towards the foam attachment. Subsequently, the airflow forces the liquid through the fine mesh screen, creating a consistent layer of cleaning foam.

Thanks to this foam formation, you can apply the cleaning solution evenly across the surface. Moreover, the foam helps loosen dirt particles from carpet fibres and upholstery, making them easier to remove.

How to Use the Kirby Attachment for Shampoo Gun in 4 Steps

Attach the foam screen: securely fit the foam attachment onto the front of the Kirby shampoo gun.

Prepare the shampoo: fill the reservoir with the correct mixture of water and carpet shampoo according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Apply the foam: switch on your Kirby vacuum cleaner and distribute the cleaning foam evenly over the surface.

Allow to dry and vacuum: let the treated surface dry completely before vacuuming away the remaining shampoo residue and loosened dirt.

This method allows you to clean carpets and suitable upholstery fabrics without unnecessarily soaking the material.

Compatibility of the Attachment for Shampoo Gun

The attachment fits the original Kirby shampoo gun and is therefore compatible with the following Kirby vacuum cleaner models:

Kirby Avalir Platinum, Avalir 2 and Avalir 1

Kirby Sentria 2 (G10D) and Sentria 1 (G10)

Kirby Ultimate G Diamond Edition (G7D / DE)

Kirby Ultimate G (G7 / UG)

Kirby Generation 6 (G6) and Generation 5 (G5)

Kirby Generation 4 (G4) and Generation 3 (G3)

Thanks to its original connection design, the foam screen is easy to replace. Therefore, this Kirby foam screen is a practical replacement accessory for cleaning carpets, rugs, and suitable upholstery fabrics.

For customer experiences and independent feedback about Veltec Kirby Specialist, please visit our verified customer reviews on Trustindex.

The Kirby attachment for shampoo gun converts liquid cleaning shampoo into fine foam for even and effective cleaning of carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
